When inspecting and inspecting the operation of the motor, you can touch the motor housing by hand to determine whether the motor is overheated. Normal operation of the motor, the temperature of its shell will not be too high, generally between 40 to 50 degrees C, not too hot; if hot to burn hands, the temperature of the motor may be too high.
A more accurate method for measuring the temperature of the motor is to insert a thermometer in the ring hole of the motor (the hole can be used for cotton yarn or cotton seal). The temperature measured by the thermometer is generally 10-15 lower than the most hot temperature of the winding (experience value).
According to the measured temperature, the hottest temperature should be calculated, and the maximum allowable temperature should not exceed the rated level of the motor in normal operation.
