By using this characteristic, the protection circuit can be started by a switch signal of the control circuit, thus the protection of a specific object can be realized. When the temperature drops, the PTC will automatically remove the protection or alarm state, and the system will re-operate as scheduled.
Although PT100 is also a thermistor, the positive temperature coefficient is very stable. PT is the type of platinum, which means that the resistance of PT100 is 100ohm at 0 degrees. PT100 is a kind of resistive temperature sensor, which takes advantage of the regular change of resistance value of platinum with the change of tempearture. There is a strict one-to-one correspondence between PT100 resistance and temperature, which is commonly referred to as athermometer. The common temperature range of PT100 is -200 to 650 degrees, which is used in conjunction with the temperature of the object under test in real time.
