Bearing heating is one of the most common faults in motor. Light makes graese dilute leakage, heavy will damage bearing, and cause economic loss to user. When the motor is in operation, the allowable temperature of the outer ring of the bearing should not exceed 95 C°. If it exceeds this value, the temperature of the bearing of the motor is too high, which is also called the heating of the bearing of the motor. There are many reasons for the heating of the bearing. Motor in operation may cause overheating of motor bearing if bearing has been damaged. We should check whether the bearing ball is damaged, repair or replace if any damage occurs.
In the replacement of grease, if mixed with hard particles impurities or bearing cleaning is not clean, which will make the bearing wear and overheating, and even may damage the bearing. After cleaning the bearing and the end cover of the bearing, replace the grease again.
Motor bearings run for a long time without oil, friction losses are aggravated, and the bearings overheat. We should regular maintenance to avoid motor bearing oil shortage operation.
If the brand number of the graese is wrong, the correct type of grease should be replaced as soon as possible.
If the graese is blocked too much in the rolling bearing, excessive grease in the rolling bearing should be removed.
Grease has impurities, too dirty, too thick or oil ring stuck, which will cause bearing overheating.
The belt is too tight, too loose, the coupling is not well assembled, or the motor is not in line with the center of the hauled mechanical shaft, which causes the bearing load to increases and heat up. The belt tightness should be adjusted; the coupling should be corrected.
When the roating part of the motor is rubbed with the static part, the bearing is worn off and the load is increased, which causes the bearing to overheat.
When the motor vibration is too large, it will lead to the motor bearing wear intensified, so that the bearing overheating.
There are many reasons for the heating of the bearing, which should be found in time and solved when the failure occurs.
