A special pump motor should be used for the pump.
According to the structure classification, the pump motor should be divided into horizontal motor and vertical motor. Because the working characteristics of the pump are relatively small starting torque, relatively small start-up frequency and long running time, most of the pump motors are squirrel cage rotor asynchronous motors or synchronous motors.
The choice of pump motor should be selected according to the shaft power, and the motor power is greater than the shaft power level. For example, the shaft power is 15KW, and the motor should be selected as 18.5KW. As for the use of several pole motors, it should be based on the actual working conditions. 2 pole motor is usually used in high lift and low flow rate (calculation is more complex). 4 pole motor can be selected when the flow is small. Super large flow, lower head selection 4 or 6 pole motor, when selecting six pole motor, power can be reduced by one grade according to shaft power.
The pump motor can be widely used in different fields, in addition to corrosive gases or in flammable and explosive occasions, such as the application of international transport, mixing, printing, agricultural machinery and video processor, can also be used with machine tools, pumps, blowers, compressors and other ancillary equipment.
