The stator is the stationary part of the motor, because it is fixed, so it is called the stator. It's made up of three parts.
(L) stator core. Is the magnetic circuit of magnetic steel sheet by punching, is rounded with thickness of o.5mm high magnetic Diego and pressed. Each silicon steel sheet has a certain shape slot along the circumference, so that the coil is embedded into the coil. When the motor works, the coil is energized, and the magnetic flux passes through the iron core.
Silicon steel sheets are coated with insulating paint on both sides, so that the sheets are insulated with each other to reduce the eddy current loss of the core. For small capacity (motor) silicon steel sheets (less than 5 stands), insulating paint can be applied, while the oxide film formed on the surface of rolled silicon steel sheets is used as inter chip insulation.
(2) stator winding. It is the electric part of the motor. It is made up of a coil made of insulated copper wire, which is made up of a coil of definite shape, turns and numbers, and is connected by certain requirements. (3) frame. Is cast by cast iron foundry. The main function is to support the stator core, fixed end cover, shaft and so on, and fix the whole machine. The surface is cast with radiating ribs, the top is equipped with lifting rings, and the lower end of both sides has the foundation so that the whole machine is installed and fixed, and the motor nameplate is fixed on the obvious part of the center of the side of the machine frame.
The rotor is the rotating part of the motor. Because it turns, it's called a rotor. The torque produced by the motor is supplied by the machine. Its composition is:
(L) rotor core. The same as the stator, it is also the part of the magnetic circuit made of silicon steel punching piece. Their shapes are shown in Figures 1, 3 and 1. The outer ring is the stator core (Gui Gang) punching piece, the inner ring is the rotor core punching piece, and the central empty circle is used for the insertion of the rotating shaft. There is a small gap between the stator and rotor core, usually called air gap is generally 0.2 lmm. The size of air gap has great influence on the performance of the motor. Because the air gap is actually air, its resistance to magnetic flux is much larger than that of the core, so if the air gap is greater, the greater the reluctance is, the greater the required magnetizing current (or no-load current) is to pass through a certain number of magnetic flux, and then the motor performance is deteriorated. So the air gap should be as small as possible, but not too small, it will make the motor assembly difficulty, rotation of the rotor and the stator cavity may encounter rub, the motor can not operate normally. It can be seen that the air gap size of a motor is determined by careful calculation, and it is generally not allowed to change arbitrarily.
